Today was the first day at Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard in Jordan, Minnesota.  We arrived there at about 11:00 am and were met by Jim, Jen, Tom and the rest of of the crew.  We are doing caricatures and temporary body tattoos in the main building on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the fall season.  Prior to today, I had never visited the apple farm.  Wow!  Was I pleasantly surprised! 

Minnesota Harvest has over 33,000 apple trees and countless kinds of apples to choose from.  They have this nifty cooler room where customers can cut and slice each brand of apple they offer for sale.  Then, you can either venture into the orchard and pick the kind you enjoy or buy a satchel they previously picked and packaged.  They make their own cider, caramel, jam, jelly and absolutely every possible item your imagination conjurs up surrounding the word "apple".  Then, if your bored with apples, you and the kids can enjoy a hay ride, a cool and fun horse trail ride with Jen and Tom, or a serene walk through the orchard.  This is a MUST visit for the family this fall.  Oh yea, if you come out you gotta come over to my booth in the main building and say hi to me and get your caricature done!  And, while your waiting for the caricature, we can get you a temporary airbrush body tattoo!!
